GOEL SERVICES RECEIVES SAFETY AWARD FROM
ASSOCIATED BUILDERS AND CONTRACTOS OF METRO
WASHINGTON
The Metro Washington Chapter presents Chapter
Safety Awards to companies that exhibit
meritorious safety performance during the
previous reporting year. The award winners
were determined using safety factor
calculations that incorporate data from OSHA
reports. Goel Services was honored to receive
this award for all of the employees that
contribute to our employee's safety.
GOEL SERVICES RECEIVES AWARD OF merit from
associated general contractors of america
Goel Services was awarded The 2007 Merit Award
for Environmental Renovations for Federal
Office Building #8 (FOB8) in Washington, DC
PJ Goel was honored to accept this award on
behalf of all the employees and subcontractor
who made this project so successful. Goel
Service relied on the company’s proficiency
with cost savings, environmental
consideration, innovative methods, and
timeliness to make the project a success. This
was the largest FDA remediation of a
laboratory to ever occur, and Goel completed
the project 2.5 months ahead of schedule,
while recycling 72% of all material. The
company used innovative methods to save the
customer US General Services Administration
time and money.

from across the country," said AGC CEO Stephen
E. Sandherr. "The Build America Award winners
embody the industry at its best and truly
illustrate how AGC contractors are building
America’s quality of life." The Build America
Awards contribute directly to the AGC
Education and Research Foundation. Since 1993,
The Build America Scholarship Program has
awarded more than $250,000 in scholarships to
nearly 80 construction management and civil
engineering students.
PJ Goel is runner-up for Small Business
Association's Small Business Person of the
Year (2007).
Goel Services is ranked as the 10th top
specialty contractor in Washington, DC by
Mid-Atlantic Construction (Summer 2006) and
the 12th largest asbestos removal contractor
by Engineering News Record (ENR 2006). |
