JOC/TOC/SABER CONSTRUCTION SERVICES
Goel Services offers Job Order Construction (JOC),
Task Order Construction (TOC) services and
Strategic Acquisition of Base Engineering
Requirements (SABER).
HISTORICAL RESTORATION
Thorough planning and knowledgeable skills
ensure that renovations meet historical
guidelines and today's building codes. Careful
attention is given to restore historical
structures and up-fit them to code without
compromising the original architectural
integrity.
FIRE REHABILITATION
Goel Services provides full restoration and
rehabilitation services, including emergency
board up work, demolition, insurance
adjustment management, reconstruction, and
occupancy.

School

On this 28-month, three-phase project, Grunley
Goel JV was tasked to modernize Brightwood
Elementary School. The team started the
project in March 2003, and Phase 1 was
completed in August 2005 and the final phases
will complete by August 2006.

This five-year $10 million job order contract
was awarded to Goel Services for renovations
and modernization of Washington D.C. Housing
Authority’s low income housing units. Goel
Services’ first task order on this contract
was to fully rebuild
six fire-burned units at the Lincoln Heights
Apartments in Washington D.C. Additionally,
Goel Services, has performed fast-track
asbestos removal and boiler repairs at various
DC Public Schools through the Housing
Authority.

Job: Fire Rehabilitation - Lafayette
Elementary School

Goel Services was contracted by the District
of Columbia Public Schools in Washington D.C.
to restore Lafayette Elementary School after a
three-alarm electrical fire raged underneath
the school in a service tunnel. Work included
extensive smoke cleanup and restoration of the
tunnel. Additionally, painting, fireproofing
and insulation services were performed in the
scorched tunnel, as well as duct cleaning was
performed throughout the entire school.

Job: Banneker Recreational Center- Exterior
and Interior Renovation

This project for The Temple Group will include
asbestos abatement, insulation, hazardous
waste removal, and demolition of Banneker
Recreational Center. In order to complete the
facility for DC Parks and Recreation, the
interior and exterior renovations will take
place in two phases.

GSA. Both design and build were completed
ahead of schedule and construction occurred
